I need an accurate sample slicer, I think Simpler is the best one, but I don't know how to use it in Max 8, how should I do?

I was thinking the same but could not find an exact Max version of Simpler yet.

But there are many devices that manipulate Simpler via the api.

Since this thread has been revised a bit...  yah, felt the same way. It would be awesome if this could work but then again.. I could imagine this to get tricky too, because you only gain direct access to the Live instruments if you have a Suite license. 

So this means that "the powers that be" would need to check for 2 licenses: our Max / Cycling '74 license(s) and those from Ableton. I can easily see that this could become tricky ;)

But still, I definitely agree with you guys: it would be 

 if Max could 'detect' our installed (!) Live instruments and then bring them into Max as well.

Is it possible to use Ableton Live's built-in Simpler in Max8 as an object?
