I have this simple patch where I am just dropping a folder with some videos on a jit.gl.polymovie object.

Basically every time I do that, Max becomes unresponsive.

The folder contains videos in mp4 format and it is just 250 MB overall, my machine is an M1 Max with 64 GB of ram.

I am not sure why this is happening, any help?

Update: switching video engine from AVF to VIDDLL has solved the issue apparently.

I have no clue why, any expert opinion on this?
