Product News

Hello from Cycling ’74 headquarters. We have two quick announcements.

First, we’ve released M, version 2.7.1. This free update adds support for Intel Macs to the composition program originally published in 1987. M’s ability to compose and perform at the same time still attracts interest from all types of musicians today.

And our latest C74 Music release is Amoebazoid’s Zuckung. Demonstrated by the titles and excerpts, Amoebazoid’s serious technological chops never overshadow his ability to conjure up a mood. To learn more and listen to excerpts, visit:

Second, we have some news about the Cycling ’74 headquarters. As of May 25, 2007, we are moving to a new location — up the street a few blocks. The phone number remains the same:

730 Clementina Street
San Francisco, CA 94103 USA
Phone: +1 415-974-1818
Fax: +1 415-974-1812

As a result of our move, our office (including technical support and software authorizations) will be closed Friday, May 25th, as well as on Monday, May 28th, which is the Memorial Day holiday. We’ll re-open Tuesday, May 29th.

Finally, we have two new Max/MSP/Jitter Workshops for Beginners scheduled in June. One in Atlanta and the other in Los Angeles. The workshops are strictly for beginners. For complete details, please visit our Workshop page.

My Wii Life…

My friend Mike Metlay recently asked me to perform with him on a live StillStream webcast scheduled for June 30, 2007.
