    Live and Max for Live Workshop
    The Bayerische Theaterakademie (Bavarian Theatre Academy) in Munich organizes a Ableton Live & Max4Live -Workshop from March. 12.-14. The workshop is divided in two parts: 1) Fri. 12. & Sat.13. morning : Ableton “Live”, held by Christian Kleine ( Ableton ); 2)Sat.13. afternoon & Sun. 14: “Max4Live”, held by Emmanuel Jourdan (Cycling74) Although the workshop was mainly conceived for theatre-technicians and the students of the Theaterakademie, we decided to open it up to the public for the remaining places. A contribution of 150 Euros for the 3 days ( 100 Euros for just part two “Max4Live”) will be expected in form of a donation to the Bayerische Theaterakademie, payable in cash on the first day. This is a workshop for users of Live who want to dig deeper into Max for Live. The ideal participant is comfortable with Live but has little or no experience with Max or M4L. Max/MSP/Jitter is a graphical programming environment for music, audio and multimedia that has been used worldwide for over fifteen years by performers, composers, artists, teachers, and students. After completing this course, students will be able to make new M4L devices that process sound and midi in response to real-time control and/or simple algorithmic processes. Graduates of this course will also have the skills to read and understand larger M4L devises and the foundation for exploring more advanced features cir tutorials, help patches and online documentation. at 7:00 pm

    Harvestworks Artist In Residency Program: New Works Residency Deadline April 1, 2010 for projects beginning July 1, 2010. The New Works Residency Program offers commissions of up to $4000 to make a new work in our state of the art digital media facility. The artist works with a project manager, engineer and programmer (if required). New works may include multiple channel audio or video installations, interactive performance systems, data visualization or projects involving hardware hacking, circuit bending or custom built interfaces, as well as projects that use the web. Emerging artists and artists of color are encouraged to apply. Residencies run from July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2011. all day
