The new (beta) Code Export feature of Gen has only been around for about a month, and is still sparsely documented, but that didn’t stop Varun Nair at the Designing Sound blog from digging in and trying it out. The tutorial goes through the process of creating and exporting a tremolo effect with Gen and then building the code into an Audio Unit plugin. It’s great to see such a clear and well-written tutorial.
Varun also gives a nice and simple overview of getting started with the Gen environment in Max. We look forward to seeing more experiments in this area, and are really excited about what people will do with Code Export. Have any experiences to share? Let us know in the comments.
