Music and wilderness are the two driving passions in my work. I seek to explore ways in which music and wilderness together can create empowering experiences for people. How does max/msp fit into this? That's a good question, actually. I don't really know. Max/msp makes innovation fun. I guess that's it. I love collaborating with artists from different disciplines, and max/msp is a great tool for exploring the interstices between the arts in a fun way, enabling a conversation between different arts (and the computer) which would otherwise be impossible. I also used to be a computer geek, so it allows me to continue being geeky but in a cool way. Yeah, that's it.
