I have just obtained a BSc Music Technology degree, having studied for three years at Hertfordshire University. I encountered Max in my second and third years, and loved the simplicity of the program, as well as its potential. It started as a website for a program called MSP

In 1997, the original website was designed by Cat’s Eye Press to use the Brush Script font, images from a 1974 Schwinn bicycle catalog, and a pastel-to-Howard Johnson color palette. And then things got out of hand.
