I'm attempting to design a multi-tier arrangement of 'jit.gl.slab's, with some recursive processing at various nodes.  My understanding is that it all gets "collected" at jit.world - but I'm running into things not behaving as I'd expect (certain slabs not operating, or operating out-of-order). Hi! Is anyone aware of the Function create_audio_clip (class Clipslot). It's listed in the LOM manual but don't seem to work (also for class Track) :

live.object: 'ClipSlot' object has no attribute 'create_audio_clip'

At first I tought it was because I was using it under Ableton 11, so I installed Ableton 12 trial and still don't work.

My guess is that 12 trial is version .0.1 and the LOM manual refers to .0.5

I was wondering if anyone using 12.0.5 tried create_audio_clip function because I don't think I can update from the trial version... or maybe I'm wrong... Thanks!

I am building a patch for an installation and it uses three Korg NanoKontrols. To keep setup as simple as possible for the museum staff when I am not around, I want the controllers to connect automatically to the right set of patch-controls. Is there a way to automatically select the midiin device? AFAIK, I only have a pop-up menu when I doubleclick on the object.

Something that I didn't see covered anywhere is the Max's system for handling fonts. Is there any way to load my own font from file and bundle it with the .amxd if I were to distribute it?

The font picker seems to only allow choosing from the system fonts which is unfortunate.

I'm trying to use live.path, live.object and grab_control to hijack a button in a MIDI controller, to then output MIDI CC to the Ableton Interface. I need to control the stock Looper device using MIDI assignments, as some of the Looper controls are not available vía live.remote~ (undo/clear, x2, etc)

The device sits on a MIDI Channel, and aims to control LOOPER in a separate audio channel.
