I have the feeling, that the last update isn't quite right. 

Lots of random crashes while not really reproducible.  

Also when exporting to M4L , patches are changing to older versions/states again and/or gen~ objects are completely empty.

Last is causing horrible clicks in the audio-outs, it killed a pair of headphones already. 

Never had this behavior in all other releases. 

I have the feeling, that the last update isn't quite right.

I`m having problems with a virtual midi port and cannot find the way to solve it. Maybe someone can help..

The Max Standalone recognize the virtual midi port correctly the first time I open the app that creates it, but if closing the app and reopening it again, the midi port is labelled as an instance "OriginalName #2" so it`s not working anymore. If I close and open the app again it goes to "OriginalName #3" and so on. 

It looks like in someway the port is not really closed after closing the application that created it, even not being available within midiin or midiout objects, and dissapearing from the ports list at Max Midi Setup window after closing the app that created it.  It looks that the operating system automatically assign a new name to avoid conflicts, as the port has not been completely freed after closing the application that created it. This results in names like "OriginalName #2".

Does anyone had any similar issue? Any ideas on how to solve it?

I might have found a bug in the coding for the 

 object in one of the recent releases for Max installed on Windows 11.

If I create a chooser object in a patcher and fill it with some values, clicking on an entry outputs the index number and entry value from outlets 1 and 2 as expected. However, double-clicking the same entry generates no output from outlets three and four as it is supposed to do:

An associate who tried this on his Mac installation appears to get the expected results by double-clicking, although I don't know which version of Max and MacOS he is using.

Interestingly, a project that I have previously built in to a Standalone generates the expected output when double-clicking 

 entries and if I build this patcher into an executable it also works correctly:

Is this a bug or is there something in my Windows installation that is preventing double-clicks from acting on the

I am new to max and have some experience with p5js, but it is still difficult to understand the logic of max. After seeing  

 video of implementing p5js in max, I also want to try it.

I encountered a problem when trying to implement 

 with max. I don't know how to get the index value in jit.gen like the index in the for loop. I have been troubled by this problem since last night.
