If your patch can't store object's attributes, then you are doing something wrong.

if you look at my patch it is literally only an instance of live.text

I need to set the inactive text color

I have similar problems and can reproduce the following behavior.

1. When opening/re-opening Max, all live.text objects in my Max patches change the background color from dark to light.

2. When opening the Max editor in Live, background colors in the Max patches change back to original dark.

This happens with Live 11.2.6 and Max 8.5.2 (also used for M4L) on Mac.

As a simple solution I just leave Max always open.

This happens with Live 11.2.6 and Max 8.5.2 (also used for M4L) on Mac.
