2 different Video out for 2 graphic cards on mac pro.

hello.

how can I send video signal from Jitter to send 2 different display using 2 graphic cards?
also, can I use two graphic card with maximum GPU usage in jitter?
each graphic card on mac pro has DVI, minidisplayport.

make two jit.window objects and move the each to the display you want .

you cannot share data between two gpu like with some gfx cards in windows world.. but you can share textures on two outputs on same gpu with the shared_context message in jit.gl.render

Hi guys,

I need to create an exact copy of my jit.window. I push one out to a projector screen but need one on my laptop screen to monitor what’s going on. I haven’t been able to figure this one out.

Any ideas?

Thanks

How about ‘mirror displays’ in your Displays System Preferences?

Hey Ben,

I’ve mapped all my controls to a lemur but i do still need to see my patch for now. The plan in the near future is to not have to look at the screen at all but i’m performing on fri and there’s no way of my seeing the projector screen. Mirroring will do but i’ll have to guess lots of stuff :)

I’ve started a thread here
