3-channel buffer~ won't read its own saved data

I couldn’t get a 3-channel buffer~ to read the file it wrote itself. It works no problem with 1, 2 and 4 channels. Is it a bug?
Test file appended.

max-msp 5.0.4, OS 10.5.4, 2,33 GHz Intel Core Duo…

It’s documented, that buffer~ can deal with 1, 2 and 4 channels. Thats
it… If its documented its not a bug, but you could turn it into a
feature request… ;-)

Thanks for that, Stefan. I think I’m out of practice with max. It was so aesthetically pleasing to have a 3-channel buffer to manage my 3 data streams…
