I don't know if it is really a max msp question, but i'm wondering if it is possible to create a 3D map from 2 shots

I explain myself, i take a first shot of something, move myself a bit on the right or left and take another shot

if i superimpose the 2 shots, the distance between commons elements of the 2 shots could give me, with max (jitter?) and pythagore's help , the distance between the the camera and the elements of the shots (it is similar to rangefinder system)

does anyone understand what i'm trying to explain?
