Any thoughts on how to do this type of 3d camera analysis. of course I know about CV.jit, what Im curious about is how to do this type of 2 camera comparative analysis to get depth information. I have a patch for quartz composer in the examples that does it. I just dont think i can have 2 live cameras go into quartz composer, but I am pretty sure I can with jitter.

Any thoughts?

xbox
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GH_gDreIdcM

playstation
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=th8_zKa0DKk

I get the feeling that these could be done with 2 cameras and sensors.

Also has anyone accessed the new wii attachment with the way better accelerometer/tilt sensor (I have no idea how it does what it does, its totally insane playing tiger woods). I dont own any videogames or systems, or even a tv for that matter, but Ive been fascinated by the current trend that nintendo set into motion.

the graphics and new controller capabilities of most current videogames is incredible, and I want to do that type of thing in my installation art. I am getting decent with GLSL and learning Cg, and thats giving me tons of new graphics capabilities, but I want to go deeper into cutting edge camera vision and sensors. I have an arduino, and an icube wireless, and ive done loads of stuff with them so far. Ive also done loads of pieces with basic camera vision technologies. I just want to bring things in the art world into step with where videogames are.
