3D video cams & Jitter

I wonder if anyone have found and worked with some (not too expensive) 3D video cam and managed to get the stream in to Jitter? Seems such cam (I´m still looking for one) would deliver a special packed codec that would need to be unpacked to 2 separate streams. Sounds like problem to me but maybe someone knows of a working solution. The alternative would of course be to use two identical standard cams but I think I have seen ,ore than one post complaining about how jit.qt.grab handles identical cams…
I really need a solution for a live video/dance installation for ZKM this autumn so I would appreciate any good advice…
