5.0.8: sfplay & 24bit wav

It’s a no-go.

Just installed 5.0.8 on windows running parallels and there everything is fine. On 10.5.8 sfplay or buffer won’t read 24 bit wave files. A related issue is that sfrecord and buffer aren’t able to create wave files but aiff only.

Johan,

Here, I can ‘open’ and record wave, however there is something screwy with the actual save dialog only giving aiff file as an option. We will look into this.

ok, there also appears to be something wrong with recording/playing back int24 wav files, will have a closer look at all of this.
