First, how do you get color data as numbers from the inspector window? With Max5 you had the floats right there, but now it’s different.

I’ve been copy/pasting panel inspector into a message box and then editing away the formatting, but that isn’t right. If I do that to a panel and copy the color, then send that panel that 4 number message, it’s not the same color.

Same goes for swatches. I try sending it a message (again copy/pasted from the panel inspector) and it goes to a random color every time… (not even the same color).

Then in terms of fpic, for some reason fpic never keeps my images correctly. Especially if I have two similarly named images embedded (an arrow and an upsidedown arrow). If I quit/open the patch sometimes they change. Or same goes for different color objects. Fpic doesn’t seem to like keeping it’s images straight (when embedded) for me.

Lastly, is there a way to copy all the panel inspector color data from one object onto another in one go, rather than doing it one at a time? When I decide to revamp the look of a UI element I have to go back and forth between the ‘new’ version and all of the ‘old’ versions and copy/paste each bit one by one (bgcolor, textcolor, etc…)
