A little math help

This is an expr from an object called transratio. I’m not sure where it
came from.

expr ((440. * exp(.057762265 * $f1)) * 0.002273)/ 1.00012

It converts transposition intervals in semitones to transposition ratios.

Does anyone have an object that does the reverse?

I try to be careful about attributions. Transratio was from the examples
folder that came with max but another more generalized one, TransRatio, is
in ST.ools. The implementation was a little different but searching for it
reminded me of the wealth of tiny but useful objects in Stefan Tiedje’s
AbshaXtions. I’m going to search there before I make my own. For example,
this morning I was about to write the opposite of listfunnel when I found
spraylist. Thanks Stefan.
