A quick question about buffer and groove

I’m trying to get a 4 bar loop to play in my patch but it’s not working at all, I’m very new to Max/MSP and i was following a tutorial given to me by my lecturer, the patch is supposed to play a loop and then using the section on the right adjust the pitch and tempo, unfortunately my loop isn’t playing at all!

can you any of you guys have a quick glance at the patch and see what i’m doing wrong? thanks alot i’ll post it up along with the loop which is 130bpm

p.s. i think my loadbang isn’t working either, not too sure why

p.p.s don’t worry about the project name, currently it’s irrelevant to the patch :)

cheers guys!

Assuming that the file “Basic Loop.wav” is somewhere in your search path then all you need to do is connect the [sig~] object to the first inlet of the [groove~] object, turn on the [toggle] and click “startloop”. Have a look at the [groove~] helpfile to get a good understanding of how to make it tick!
