Anyone know how to achieve Ableton-like beat syncing in Max? I want to sync three loops together on the fly and have them synchronize. I can't quite figure out which object to use. Beat~ only sends out pulses, but I need it to actually monitor all the sounds and make sure that all beats throughout the loops are hitting on beat.

I'm assuming you're talking about audio loops. If they're at the same tempo then that should be trivial, using [groove~] for example. Otherwise you need to time-strech them so that they play over the same duration. You could use grainstrech~ for that (search the forums for it, it's great).
