Hi

Anyone here have an Acceleglove / experimented with one in Max? Any ideas how to get this data glove working in Max?

if the [hi] object recognizes it, you should be good to go…not sure otherwise.

check the [hi] help file with the glove connected (connect before starting Max) and see if it’s in the dropdown. if so, determine all the index/value pairs and [route] them to your liking.

Hi

…and yes hi was my first attempt but it does not seem to see it. The app that comes with the glove is made in java and there’s plenty of java documentation explaining how to implement the glove into a user designed app. I’m wondering if I can pull it in through mxj. Anyone out there to advise? I’m presuming java libraries (such as the one with the glove) can be pulled in through mxj?

Yes, normally you can write : "import whatever-java-library-you-need" in a java class in mxj
i personally use mxj and find it very powerful for many things.

Thanks for confirming that, never used mxj so didn’t know ether way. I’m going to try this as a solution now I know it might be possible.
