Addition in MaxMSP

July 23, 2007 | 3:33 am

Hi All,
I am new to MaxMSP and have a question regarding basic Math.

I am trying to figure out a way to on the trigger of a Bang, add one (1) to a number box. Ideally if i push the Bang 5 times the number box will equal 5.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated and if i am posting in the wrong section i apologize in advanced.

Thanks,
Alex

I’d use counter.

#P window setfont "Sans Serif" 9.;
#P number 26 118 35 9 0 0 0 3 0 0 0 221 221 221 222 222 222 0 0 0;
#P window linecount 1;
#N counter 1 10;
#X flags 0 0;
#P newobj 26 96 68 196617 counter 1 10;
#P button 26 55 24 0;
#P connect 1 0 2 0;
#P connect 0 0 1 0;
#P window clipboard copycount 3;
