adjusting size of jsui

April 20, 2012 | 1:36 pm

Hi,

could someone help me with this; I would like to be able to change teh size of the jsui object in this patch by dragging on the edge- I appreciate this requires adjusting the javascript code, which at the moment is beyond my skill-set. I would be very grateful for any assistance please. Alternatively is is possible to drag the size of a node object?

Given you also mentioned nodes, I assume you want to change the size of the ‘sphere’ within ithe JSUI object. Don’t think that that is possible as the JS script currently is. Its possible to change the size of the JSUI *area* by the usual way – dragging at the bottom right corner (in unlock/edit mode) but I assume that’s not what you are asking.

FWIW The nodes circles *are* resizable – that’s really the whole point – on macOS, option-drag on the numbered centre to resize a node. In patch edit you can change the size of the Nodes UI in the usual way…

Oh, o.k. thanks spectro, i had missed teh fact that option dragging resized the node (!). So is it possible to link the node to a value, so for instance the bigger the node the louder an audio file gets?
