I have a wii remote and want to creat a patch which can be controled by it?

The output from the wii remote is numbers created by the movement.

- I want to use these numbers to conrol filters.

ANY suggestions of filters that would work well

I also have buttons on the controler that i was going to use to trigger sound files.

try [filtergraph~] with your values, once there's a sample loaded in and playing. or hook it up to the filtergraph~ help file, which filters noise. you'll definitely need [scale] to give you good ranges, so something like [scale 0. 1. 100. 2000.] will take one value from your wii data (if it's between 0. and 1.) and give you a good starting range for frequency sweeps.

Do watch out for filtergraph~ values, it's easy to get really really loud feedback-ish sounds if you set the resonance really high and there's energy at that frequency. For filter type I usually stick to "resonant".

after that, well, there's about a hundred other things you could use it for... :) make a simple FM synth out of cycle~ objects, you can do it in about 5 minutes... then control the pitch, volume, and level of "crunch" with your X Y Z motions. (the "crunch" being the level of the cycle~ signal going into the phase inlet of another cycle~)
