I think we’ll all get used to the new way and soon won’t want to go back… that said, a way to control the roundedness would be fantastic.

Also, are objects semi-transparent only through the editor, or can this be set on the fly? So users of a locked patch would be able to set transparency. A message, a thispatcher script, or is this not doable?

I would like that too, but I am not sure that it will be in there. The
only usefull way would be to be able to set this per object. Elsewise
I’d prefer it to be fixed.
Imagine you set a global value for the number of pixels of your object
and load your patch on a different machine. It would look different than
you designed it… Not a good idea…

You could have an object inside your patch that sets the global value
for that patch only (thus ignoring the global preferences setting of
max for that patcher window).

Yes that would work as well, an appearence extension to thispatcher
maybe…
That would be actually pretty cool, could also define colors and alike…
Lets vote for that, seems easier to implement and doesn’t add overhead
to the objects…
