Hi, are there any ambisonics externals that are compatible with Max 5? I’ve tried ICST and vbap but can’t see new versions yet.

Failing that, has anyone had much luck using Daniel Courville’s Ambisonic Studio plugins? I’m not sure how to set up the decoder for a particular speaker arrangement.

Thanks

Quick note – I’ve got the AS decoder working now which is great. But I’d still be interested to know whether there are any Max 5 compatible externals available.

Cheers

That’s a real shame about ambimonitor.

Is it possible to control position using cartesian coordinates directly into ambicontrol?

can’t tell you more.

by the way you can easily send data from max 4.6 to max5
through udpreceive/send
