I know about jit.cellblock, but I find it a bit lacking in what I would like to achieve. I wanted to create a list of items that I could update. I know I could use coll but I was more interested in viewing and editing that list in the same time.

How would you visualize a list in coll without using jit.cellblock?

why is jit.cellblock "lacking"? it's the easiest way of doing it for sure. I can't think of an out-of-the-box way of visualizing/manipulating lists other than jit.cellblock. there might be 3rd party externals??? or you have to roll your own. not impossible but quite a bit of work when you already have the cellblock. maybe a combination of coll (dump) and textedit. but then you need to know how many elements you have...

double click on the coll, or send it an open message...

You can view and edit the entries at the same time...

If you don't want an extra window, jit.cellblock is the best. But if you are fine with viewing only a line at a time, you can use textedit...

Hi guys! Thank you for all the input! I ended up using multiple [jit.cellblock]s connected to multiple [coll]s, all put in one [bpatcher] and it works like a charm, doing what I was trying to achieve! :D

Any other way to visualize and edit grid-type lists?
