Anybody have a simple max 4 pluggo patch?

Hi everybody,
does anybody have an old pluggo patch that i can try, and use as an
example maybe? i’ve been trying to get it working, but it keeps crashing.
just curious if somebody’s patch will work here.

OK, they don’t get much simpler than this! It’s a plug that does absolutely nothing but print a stupid message, that I used to use to autoload vst~ so that it didn’t keep reporting “vst~ doesn’t want midi events” because there was nothing loaded.

I miss Pluggo too :-(
Fwiw, one of the things that stopped me getting into Live/M4L is that Live seems to be the pickiest VST host ever. So many plugs seem to crash Live! Maybe things have improved now, but I never seem to get much further than trying to get the damn thing to run without barfing on my plugs – plugs that worked perfectly well in other hosts,
cheers
