I'm currently testing my Max app (on a Mac), trying many different VSTs. They all work just fine except for Omnisphere (latest version) which occasionally, upon being loaded, produces an almighty loud bang. When this happens, I observe in my RME TotalMix window that every single input fader meter is stuck full on.

As soon as I click a button to open Omnisphere for editing, all the audio outputs go back to zero.

Sadly, this does not happen every time (and never happens on Max 5) but when it does, one had better not be wearing headphones.

Attached is an image showing both TotalMix and a piece of my Max application. As you will see, while TotalMix shows all those HOT faders, the meters in my Max App (which display other stuff just fine if I produce audio) show nothing.

So somehow, Omnisphere is doing something internally that seems to not be handled properly by the [vst~] object and so royally screwing things up.

Anyone seen issues with Omnisphere in Max 6?
