I’m wanting to use it with MaxMSP, which is relatively simple mapping.

The real ticket is I want to be able to send messages TO the gio so that I can customize colors and CC midi values for certain controls (as is default in Mainstage). Does anyone know how to send CC messages back to the controller?

(I have done some research, mainly that the color values are CC messages and it is possible to map the controller with other software besides the whole Apple bundle).
