I have Quicktime 7 installed, what else am I missing?

Intel Core 2 T5600 @ 1.86GHz
100 GB RAM

I’m running a full version on a similarly spec’d computer, although the troublesome device is a “work” computer that our IT guy wipes whenever it comes back to the shop.
