I have the an issue where the window open and closes numerous times at the start of the executable file and I understand why this is occurring.

Attached is an image of my [loadbang] call to [thispatcher]. Ignore the savewindow 1 and front. This is not needed in my code but were tests.

I researched if it was possible to change settings before the [patcher] is fully loaded.

and I found the [standalone] object, and the preffilename attribute, thinking this may be a possible fix, but I am not sure how to set up the file (let alone loading it).

Is my logic correct in terms of using the [standalone] object or does anyone have any suggestions?
