I’m working on audio sampler of sorts using an Arduino and a set of phototransistors hooked into max.
Everything is connected well and working, but the arduino is rapidly banging updates of state of the transistors.

If there is no light it outputs a 1 hundreds of time a second. If there is light it outputs a 0 hundreds of time a second.

Is there any way to filter it out so that only a change in the state will pass a bang through?

I would do this in the arduino rather than in Max. It’s quite easy to program!
