arguments to pfft~

June 25, 2007 | 5:14 pm

I always thought that I could pass arguments to as pfft~ like I could
with poly~ (with "args a bc") but I can’t. pfft~ and poly~ are way too
important objects to exclude them from argument passing. I’d just repeat
my request that I would like to see a working patcherargs within poly~
(it doesn’t work) and even more important argument passing on pfft~ as
well. Could this maybe implemented before Max 5?
I know I am almost asking for too much, but argument passing is really
essential…

The name of a buffer~, a decay value, a smooth value, and the birthday

Actually this is possible, try this:

[pfft~ toto 1024 4 0 1 args titi]

There’s an example in the forthcoming article about the phase vocoder.

As far as I can see this is still undocumented…
