Im trying to simultaneously record audio and midi data, in which. the audio is originally triggered at the same time as a midi event recorded into a seq object via MIDIFORMAT.

I was hoping that this would be nice and easy, but no!

For some reason, when i load the audio and midi into my DAW, which has the tempo set at the same rate as the metro in max which is triggering the audio and MIDI events, the audio is perfectly in time with the DAW grid, but the MIDI isnt!

It seems to be running quicker than the audio!

Does anybody have any idea whats going on here, I could put it down to latency if it was falling behind the audio, but its ahead of it, and the audio is lining up with the grid.
