Audio Installation with iPad Controller – Any App Recommendations?

Hey, I’m working for my university on a Sound Installation where the Installation is going to be controlled via an iPad.

The Important thing is that the App running on the iPad should allow a Fullscreen Presentation without any other Controls and should support to design an own User Interface.

I already looked at Mira, but how I understood it it won’t support the design of custom UI Objects yet.

Does anybody have some recommendations?

If you want to design custom UI objects, do you then mean, as in, drawing your own?

In that case you’ll have to design a custom app for it, I think.

No, I really just ment to have simple functionality like pictctrl and fpic so it’s possible to have a custom UI for the Programm when it’s running on the iPad. It’s intended to be displayed in a museum and should fit into their design. As I saw with Mira these objects are not yet supported am I right?

That’s right, and there’s no other program that supports it either.

Thanks Guys! I just thought of the possibility to just stream the Computer Screen to the iPad and have the interface controlled like this. Do you have some experience with that?

I’d do it like Oli is suggesting.
