Hey all,

I recently installed MaxMSP on an old macbook of mine, and I’m experiencing a problem I’m hoping someone can help me with. Audio works fine at first, but when turning it off and back on again there is no sound. I have to restart Max in order to get an output signal again, which is pretty annoying and makes an object like ezdac unusable. So, to summarise; audio works, switch audio off (through e.g. audio/DSP options menu or ezdac button) and back on, audio doesn’t work anymore.

I’m using Max 5.1.3 and have a license for MSP, all patches work normally on my iMac. The macbook is a white, early 2006 (I believe) white macbook, running Mac OS X 10.6.7, with 2 GB of RAM. Audio Output through core audio drivers, have not tested on different soundcards.

Regards,

Matthew

Hi,

Sounds like it is a MSP authorization issue. You should contact cycling74 support directly.
