audio timings


I’m working on a patch which uses the Wii remote to control samples. I want the samples to trigger in time so if a button is pressed on the Wii the sample won’t just play straight away and be out of time instead it will wait and then play in time. All my samples are 120 bpm and 8 bars long.

Any help would be great. I would paste my patch but I dont know how.

Maybe check out the pipe object. You can set it to 4n, 8n, 16n, etc.

to post your patch:

select the part you want to post, select ‘copy compressed’ from the edit menu and paste into your post. Voila!

@Mike… I did not know pipe could be quantized to the transport. The way I was doing it was crap this is much better. Cheers!
