I'm trying out autobot and am having some issues. On Max 6.1.6 and using the latest version of autobot from

I am trying to do click-and-drag operations with mousebuttondown and mousebuttonup. at mousebuttonup it does an instant click-and-drag from the location at mousebuttondown to mousebuttonup's location. I'd rather have it depress the left mouse button at mousebuttondown and release it at mousebuttonup.

Is this possible with autobot or do I need to seek alternatives? I'm also trying mousetools via shell but the equivalent function doesn't work on my 10.7 system. What other options do I have? Can applescript do it?
