						<p>This would be really appreciated indeed if Max could check this (as long as it provides a way not to check as well).</p>
<p>That said, if you want to do it right now, I guess you could make a patch, placed in Max startup folder, which would compare installed version and version on the current mac/pc version site&#8217;s page.</p>
<p>I&#8217;d still prefer an automatic check preference, though.</p>
