Not directly related to your question, but, if you`re only switching the sound on and off, look at mute~ (and begin~/pass~) which will save you some CPU.
Thank you for your reply,,yes it is, but switching on and off the sound from the mute~ or from a toggle may cause some click,,I prefer a short fade in/out /random automation/
You can use line~ processing triggered before mute~ processing so that you get the fade-out and then the CPU-savings.
