Being new to Max, I’ve often heard people talk about the wonderful AUVI objects, but unfortunately that was before my time. It seems like AUVI provided a nice set of tools to quickly create simple (or highly complex) creative patches, and being as busy as I am at the moment with less time to work with Jitter, it seems like that would be a nice thing to have around. Could anybody point me in the direction of externals or abstractions that are a bit higher level / would allow me to experiment with greater ease while I work toward a better understanding of Jitter?
What is it you are looking to do? I suppose work with video? If you are looking for "effects" and processing examples, the best thing to do would be to look at the jitter recipes, and perhaps some shaders and their help files/examples. You can find my shader library at http://001.vade.info . May be of use to you. Who knows.
yeah, these are great, I can’t wait to play around with them. i actually stumbled upon Pelados p.toolkit, this should give me something to study for some time.
