I am using sliders, scaling to 0. to 1. and then sending them to a multiplier to control volume. Of course tho, I am hearing zipping sounds. Does someone know an algorithm to avoid this?

Or use [line~] to smooth the change. Something like this should get you going. It is the equivalent of the slew time function of [gain~].
