Hello I am using an example patch that was post here before, to track people through background substraction, I am trying to determinate all the time the x position of the person wich will be more close to the screen and the camera is position in the wall horizontal to the screen.

Everything was working fine when I was using it at home but when I arrive to a another space I realized that it was not only detecting the person who was more at the left of the camera, the problem is when another person enters in the space the patch does a media of the reading of the two positions.

I want to avoid it .I just want it to give me all the time the reading of the person wich is most at left when you face the camera.

I was studying it and I think the problem could be in a subpatch that is on the left and from "jit.op" is sending info to a "jit.findbounds" object and then from jit.findbouds it unpacks coordinates and there is an "expr" object that takes the left position the right one and seems to find a center of it.

I am only guessing all this, I was thinking just to take the "right" number straight and use it for my tracking purpose.

If anybody could tell me if that will be the correct way to do it or if it would be a better way I would really apreaciate it.
