I'm doing a project with an Arduino and Ping))) Ultrasonic sensor and want to be able to determine if something is approaching the sensor quickly or not.

I'm assuming I want to listen to the values within a given amt of time and take readings at intervals(pref 5 samples) and if the readings jump quickly I want to send a bang. Then if the readings normalize i want to bang again(off).

Does anyone know how I might approach this in Max??
