beginner nedds help loadbang

how’s it going,

need some help with loadbang for an additive synthesizer im working on for a college project (bacially how to build one). I cant find any tutorials on the net for it or in the manual.

any halp would be great help,

I suggest reading Curtis Roads – The computer music tutorial. Everything you need to know is in there, together with the max tutorials you will be able to do what you want.

What’s the question? A loadbang puts out a bang when a patch is loaded. The loadbangs in subpatchs/bpatches trigger before those in parent patches. A nice alternative to loadbang is loadmess.

Depending on your mission, you also may want to look into numbered arguments, named attributes, and the patcherargs object.

probably he’s using the tem ‘loadbang’ but means Max/Msp ?

Kev,

I’m confused – what’s wrong with [loadbang]? Does it not bang when you
think it should?

Perhaps you could post a patch demonstrating your problem, because it’s
not altogether clear what it is.

maybe he means loadbang.net ? isn’t that some sort of library thinger?
