Behringer BCF2000 / receiving data when changing preset

Hey,
is there any way how I will receive fader values of different presets when I’m changing my presets?
so let’s say:
1) fader 1 has the value 5 in preset 1
2) fader 1 has the value 300 in preset 2

I want to get the number 300 when i’m changing from preset 1 to preset 2…the sliders are moving but i don’t get any messages in max when only changing the presets.

of course: when i move the faders i get values again (with using the well known BCF2000 object).
But that’s not the point.

Can anyone help me out there?
I don’t understand why faders move automatically but don’t send any values.

thanx
cheers
Peer

to be more specific:

preset 1 (controlling the volumes of 1 sample, devided on 8 different tracks)
slider 1 position 20
slider 2 position 40
slider 3 position 1
slider 4 position 37
enzo

i change to preset 2 (controlling the panning)

i stay in preset 2 and forget to change back to preset 1.
BUT i load a new sample and all the tracks of the new sample should start with a volume of 0.
so i want to built in a trigger which brings back all faders of preset 1 to the 0 position.
but i’m in preset 2….so i load a new sample, i trigger something within my max patcher which brings back all volume values to 0 within the max patcher.

on my behringer i change back from preset 2 (representing the panning) to preset 1 (representing the volumes)
and my fader positions of preset 1? they are still like before
slider 1 position 20
slider 2 position 40
slider 3 position 1
slider 4 position 37
enzo

but i want them to be on the 0 position because in my max patcher they have a value of 0 now !!
so i want to be in preset 2 and tell the behringer that whenever i go back to preset 1 all faders should be back on the 0 position….

is this possible?

Not familiar with the BCF2000 object, but the patcher below keeps physical and software faders in sync on my setup. Are you sure you got MIDI in/out working? Are the fader numbers programmed on the Behringer?

Good luck.

Thanx Chris,
very kind of you for sending this. The problem is that the BCF2000 goes a bit further and i’m working in 14-bit and the biggest problem IMHO is that the button with which u change the presets doesn’t send any midi messages, otherwise it would be easy to get what I’m looking for I guess….

have a good day and thanx again
