What tool do you use to edit and store parameters such as text, integers and floats inside Live.app, without opening the Max editor?

I've been using coll and jit.cellblock, but can't make it to work without opening the patch in Max, saving it there, closing it and opening it again in Live.app. It would be nice to be able to just edit the info from Live.app, save the patch there (or make it stick to the patch when saving the Live set). Do you have any advice?
