<p>I am not sure how well the Kinect can track if your aim is to do it in the dark like the video</p>

						<p>You could use an infrared sensitive camera with IR filter and IR illuminators to pick up the dancers (Sony camcorders&#8217; &#8220;nighshot&#8221; mode works like this). With an IR filter, the camera wouldn&#8217;t see the video content at all. Then try something like OpenCV &#8220;blob&#8221; detection.</p>
