Sorry, I posted this yesterday but the thread seemed to get merged with one about small MIDI controllers.

I am a Max/MSP newbie, and having some difficulty with the udpsend object and trying to get it to pass Boolean flags with OpenSoundControl UDP packets.

I am trying to send the following message:

Which should get formatted by udpsend to the following:

I can't seem to figure out how to make the udpsend object recognize "true" as a boolean, instead of a string (or an integer if I send "1".)

I have tried running all my message boxes through the OpenSoundControl external, but it doesn't seem to change anything (in sniffing the packets, it seems to be adding on some header information, but the actual data portion of the packet stays the same.)

Any help is greatly appreciated...as I said, I am new at this and having some difficulty.
